Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Service Engineer II to provide technical support for turbine configurations and auxiliary equipment, including rapid NCR/ESR resolution and field issue evaluations. You will coordinate with field service and international teams to drive quality improvements and cost reductions while ensuring safety and ISO 9001 standards.

The role may involve non-core hours and evening coordination calls with Japan engineering teams, requiring collaboration across time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college.
• 3+ years of engineering design or service-related experience.
• Knowledge of turbine configuration, design, boundary conditions, temperatures, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret industry reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Advanced computer skills including Windchill, SAP, SharePoint, CRM, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for field inspections and issue resolution with minimal supervision.
• Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective actions using the 8D RCA process.
• Analyze fleet operating data and communicate findings to improve design and reliability.
• Prepare work instructions and recommend process improvements for inspections and service tasks.
• Support outage planning and field outages across international teams.
