Qualifications

Turbine Engine Technician - Field Service

We have an opening for a Turbine Engine Technician – Field Service position at our Butler, PA facility.

Job Purpose

The Turbine Engine Technician – Field Service provides domestic and international field service maintenance and repair support for PT6A and PT6T turbine engines. This role also supports PAG Engine facilities as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection, ground operation, troubleshooting, adjustment, and repair of engines and related accessories installed in customer aircraft, following applicable manufacturer's instructions.
  • Execute duties professionally, ensuring service conforms to manufacturer specifications and meets customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor tooling calibrations for equipment used in designated tasks.
  • Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.
  • Make airworthiness determinations and provide certification for work performed, including final inspection and release to service of any work accomplished within the Repair Station's capability.
  • Establish and maintain positive communication with customers, brokers, agents, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.

  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
Job Specifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Education/Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with technical Airframe/Powerplant training through trade school or military aircraft maintenance program.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in aviation maintenance, preferably with PT6A/PT6T engines.
Certificates/Licenses

FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification required.
