Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Repair Technician in Houston, TX. The role involves disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling Roll-in Assemblies, with collaboration across technicians to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position supports resource planning and shop development, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and compliance. Travel of up to 20% may be required, and candidates should have related technical training or experience.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or equivalent training/experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble roll-in assemblies.
• Collaborate with technicians on projects according to qualifications and needs.
• Support supervisor with resource planning, data tracking, and shop development initiatives.
• Maintain and improve assembly and repair processes within HRT.
• Ensure documentation (datasheets, core files, work packages) is accurate and timely.
• Coordinate with EH&S to stay current on training and compliance requirements.
• Travel overnight approximately 20% or more as required.
