Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking an Assembly Repair Technician to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble Roll-in Assemblies. You will work with fellow technicians on projects, assist the Assembly Repair Supervisor with planning and data tracking, and help ensure work is safe, efficient, and of high quality.

You will apply solid mechanical skills to optimize turbine component repair and assembly, and contribute to standard procedure improvements while coordinating with EH&S and various

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and to write routine reports.
• Proficiency with database, spreadsheet, word processing, email, flowcharting, technical diagrams, ERP and PDM systems.
• Ability to apply practical judgment to detailed written or diagram instructions and solve multi-variable problems.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive team environment with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble Roll-in Assemblies.
• Support Assembly Repair Supervisor with planning, data tracking, and shop development.
• Maintain and execute assembly and repair processes within target timelines.
• Develop and refine standard procedures for shop and field operations.
• Coordinate with EH&S to ensure safety and training compliance.
• Provide technical support for turbine, generator, and balance-of-plant equipment.
• Complete and review documentation such as datasheets and work packages.
