Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. invites applications for an Assembly Repair Technician to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble turbine roll-in assemblies.

The role collaborates with technicians to meet high-quality standards while supporting safety and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires a 1-year technical certificate and 3+ years related experience, with strong mechanical skills and proficiency in ERP/PDM tools.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, plus three years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and to write routine reports and professional correspondence.
• Ability to apply practical judgment to detailed instructions and address problems with multiple variables in standardized situations.
• Familiarity with database, spreadsheet, word processing, email, flowcharting, technical diagrams, ERP, and PDM software.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble Roll-in Assemblies.
• Maintain and improve assembly and repair processes.
• Apply mechanical skills to optimize turbine component repair and assembly.
• Develop and refine standard procedures for shop and field operations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and EH&S to ensure safe, efficient work.
