Job summary

Big River Trenchless and GeoServices LLC is seeking a Tunneling Project Manager in Texas to lead planning and development of all project deliverables, while ensuring safe, on-time and profitable execution in accordance with company standards.

You will manage budgets, apply PM procedures, oversee safety and quality, and coordinate with field operations to deliver complex tunneling projects with integrity and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and development of all project deliverables.
• Fully responsible for managing the project budget and work plan.
• Administer Project Management Procedures.
• Ensure job safety as per the safety manual.
• Ensure OSHA standards including site cleanliness.
• Report any damage to utility lines to VP of Field Operations.
• Ensure all site safety protocols including AHA and daily Tool Box Talks are followed.
• Perform daily quantity reviews and participate in monthly estimate reviews.
• Process all estimates on a timely basis.

Job description

The Tunneling Project Manager is responsible for the timely execution and administration of assigned projects in a safe and profitable manner consistent with the standards of quality and integrity. The primary responsibility is to manage a project by leading the planning and the development of all project deliverables. The Tunneling Project Manager is fully responsible for managing the budget and work plan and all Project Management Procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety

• Responsible for overall job safety as per the safety manual for the particular job.
• Ensure that test holes are dug where required.
• Report any damage to utility lines to Vice President of Field Operations.
• Ensure that job-site meets all OSHA standards including cleanliness.
• Ensure that everyone on the site is following all safety protocols including AHAs and daily Tool Box Talks.
• Perform daily quantity review.
• Actively participate in monthly review of estimates and pending submissions for payment.
• Report all extra work or non-contract work to your Division Manager.
• Process all estimates on a timely basis.
