Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of contracts and contract language.
• Ability to identify, prioritize and mitigate project risk.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets for the project.
• Cost tracking, reporting and forecasting.
• Support the change order management process.
• Assist with cost estimates and negotiations for additional work.
• Assist with monthly project cost forecasting.
• Subcontractor and material supplier quote analysis and negotiations.
• Prepare quarterly project audits.
• Provide supervision and training to clerical and entry-level staff as needed.
• Assist with project close-out.
• Assist in maintaining customer relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
