Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee field activities and drive complex tunneling and civil projects. You will coordinate schedules, labor plans, and resources across multiple sites to deliver within scope, time, and budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy civil construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with construction management software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management on general construction or heavy civil projects.
• Experience managing field operations including excavation, concrete, earthwork, utilities, and underground work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction management software.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage field construction activities including scheduling, labor plans, and coordination with internal teams.
• Lead daily planning and execution to meet project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
• Conduct site inspections and document construction activities thoroughly.
• Resolve field issues, RFIs, and constructability challenges with engineering and leadership.
• Support project reporting with updates on production, manpower, schedule, and performance.
