• Oversee procurement: review and approve purchase orders for cost/timing.
• Manage client and vendor relations; negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
• Ensure permits and approvals; maintain local/state/federal compliance; document and report.
• Lead engineers, contractors and field staff; run status meetings.

This is an exciting Project Manager position with a leading provider of specialized tunneling and underground construction services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: manage multiple tunneling projects simultaneously — timelines, resource allocation, milestones, budget; monitor progress and solve issues
• Materials & POs: oversee procurement; review and approve purchase orders for cost and timing
• Customer & Vendor Relations: primary client contact; build vendor/sub relationships; negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance
• Approvals & Compliance: permits and approvals from government agencies and clients; local/state/federal compliance; documentation and reporting

Travel:

site visits as needed — up to 20 overnight stays/year, frequent day travel

Qualifications:
