Job summary

NEORSD is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the construction phase of public improvement contracts in the district. You will coordinate field engineering, inspection activities and oversee multiple projects, ensuring schedule and budget goals are met.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs for constructability, managing contractor communications, preparing cash flow projections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, construction management or related field (or pursuing with coursework towards a bachelor’s).
• Minimum five years of construction experience, preferably with public works or utilities.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities to ensure progress per contract requirements and schedule.
• Review designs for constructability and advise on materials and equipment.
• Prepare cash flow projections and monitor project finances.
• Administer contracts, change orders and payments with accuracy.
• Coordinate with utilities, municipalities and agencies; attend public meetings.
