Powder Mountain seeks a part-time Ski Tune Shop Technician to support daily tune shop operations and guest services. You will perform waxing, edge sharpening, base repair, and binding adjustments, while inspecting equipment for safety and maintaining organized workflows.

The role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of ski equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous ski and snowboard tuning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment and maintenance procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tune Shop Operations: perform ski and snowboard tuning services including waxing, edge sharpening, base repair, and binding adjustments; inspect equipment for safety; assist with mounting and testing; maintain organized workflows; complete service documentation.
• Guest Service & Equipment Support: provide professional guest interactions regarding tune services; explain recommended tune work and timelines; assist with equipment intake and pickup.
• Shop Organization & Inventory Support: maintain clean, organized spaces; assist with inventory, receiving, storage, and supplies; monitor tuning supply levels.
• Team Support: collaborate with rental, retail, and valet teams; participate in trainings and safety procedures; adhere to safety standards.
