Job summary

LGC Biosearch Technologies in California is seeking a contract Tulip Application Developer to configure, test, deploy, and maintain digital workflows that support oligonucleotide manufacturing operations.

You will translate process requirements into practical solutions, work with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, IT and suppliers, and lead hands-on configuration, testing, documentation and user support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, manufacturing systems, biotechnology, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in manufacturing systems, MES, industrial automation, or similar technical environment.
• Experience configuring or developing Tulip or comparable low-code manufacturing platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, data exchange, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to gather requirements, document solutions, test changes and communicate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and disciplined documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Tulip applications that support oligonucleotide manufacturing operations and new customer-specific production workflows.
• Translate process requirements into practical digital solutions while following architecture, validation, and change-control practices.
• Deliver hands-on configuration, integration, testing, documentation, production support and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, Automation, IT, and vendors to design and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Own the application lifecycle for assigned Tulip solutions, including requirements, configuration, version control, testing, release and monitoring.
• Configure dashboards and reporting; monitor data quality and workflow effectiveness using agreed measures.
• Support integrations between Tulip and databases, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
