Job summary

Martinrea is a diversified global automotive supplier seeking a Quality Auditor to join the Tulsa, OK manufacturing team. The role focuses on auditing and monitoring the production quality system to uphold first-pass quality and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and read technical drawings; 2 years of quality experience in manufacturing is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and Excel skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and monitor production quality system.
  • Perform product audits on sub-assemblies and final assembled products as needed.
  • Identify and address supplier quality problems.
  • Communicate quality concerns to the Quality Supervisor and Production Leader.
  • Assist in developing and implementing measurements methods for all required processes.
  • Maintain a World Class Facility and support 5S implementation.
  • Lead area in achieving plant quality objectives/goals.
  • Ensure 0 PPM on parts and 100% on-time delivery to customer.

Job Summary

To audit and monitor production quality system

Required Education & Experience

High School Diploma - Required

Read technical drawings to determine dimensional tolerances - Preferred.

2 years of quality in manufacturing environment - Preferred

Not allow quality to be compromised in any area.

Help develop and implement measurements methods for all required processes.

Fully communicate all quality related concerns, requirements, and information

Prepare required documentation in response to customer requirements.

Evaluate and record measurement system results.

Facilitate the required reaction to customer concerns and/or issues both internal and external.

Continually stave to gain additional skills and knowledge regarding quality.

Be active in efforts to cross train n all quality areas (i.e., incoming inspection, ecoat, cut & etch, assembly, UT testing)

Perform tests such as ultrasonic, torque, push out and /or chemical on incoming parts, sub-assemblies' and final assemblies.

Implement all requirements for an effective quality system.

Perform product audits on sub-assemblies and final assembled products as needed.

Offer ideas for the improvement of all systems and help implement them.

Lead area in achieving plant quality objectives /goal.

Maintain the appearance of a World Class Facility

Actively support full implementation of the 5S's, using it to approach and keep all areas clean, neat, and properly maintained.

Actively involved with Martinrea 10 principles

Communicate to the Quality Supervisor and Production Leader, the quality problems detected in the batches of raw material.

Communicate to operators about supplier quality problems.

Audit each batch of raw material.

Release the batch of raw material if the material meets all the characteristics to be validated.

Identify the Lot according to compliance with the characteristics (Accepted / Rejected) with the label corresponding (green, orange, or red).

Request from the Materials area (receipt) the documentation for the entry of each lot (invoice, labels, and certificates)

Identify all non-compliant material detected and request compliance with the containment process.

Verify that the quantities on the labels correspond to the material that is physically in the storage area. quarantine.

Request the posting quality alerts

Request to remove expired quality alerts.

Ensure that all suspected supplier material has been moved to quarantine areas or for its containment.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to visually focus.
