Qualifications

• Experience in galley operation preferred.
• Age 18+ from EU and all nationalities.
• No visible aggressive tattoos.
• German Visa D required for non-EU candidates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and courteous service at assigned workstations.
• Assist with vegetable preparation and cleaning as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas according to safety standards.
• Ensure proper storage of cleaning materials and chemicals.
• Properly manage and recycle food leftovers in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Clean and polish chinaware and maintain general cleanliness of the work area.
• Notify the supervisor of any equipment or machinery breakage or damage.
• Maintain cleanliness in front and back of house areas according to HACCP and safety standards.
• Ensure correct handling of all equipment, machinery, and chemicals.
• Always present a clean and professional appearance in public areas.

Skills

Experience in Galley operation

Knowledge of English language (B1-B2 level)

Able to remain calm and effective under pressure

TUI River Cruises designed as boutique 'floating hotels' with a maximum of 155-190 guests, offering an intimate and relaxed atmosphere with a focus on immersive destination experiences. TUI Aria - adult only, modern & beautiful river ship, the largest in European fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and courteous service at assigned workstations following company standards and procedures.
• Ensure proper setup and adherence to procedures at the assigned workstation.
• Assist with vegetable preparation, cleaning of fridges, and storerooms as directed by the supervisor.
• Ensure correct storage of cleaning materials and chemicals.
• Properly manage and recycle food leftovers in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Clean and polish chinaware and maintain general cleanliness of the work area.
• Notify the supervisor of any equipment or machinery breakage or damage.
• Maintain cleanliness in front and back of house areas according to HACCP and safety standards.

Requirements

• Age 18+ from EU and also all nationalities we work with
• Experience in Galley operation
• Ship experience preferred
• No visible tattoos = no aggressive tattoos.
• For non-EU candidates, a German Visa D will be required.
• Safety certificates and US Visa are NOT needed.
• Knowledge of English language (B1-B2 level).
• Able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Comfortable working in multicultural environments.
• Highly organized, disciplined, and dependable.
