Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Loading Dock Associate for the 3rd shift (Sun-Wed) 7:30 pm–6:00 am. You will hand load and unload windows and doors for outbound loads and internal transfers, move products from production lines to the dock, and stage them for loading.

Responsibilities include loading trailers at 150 cube/hour or more, utilizing a tugger when needed, and actively supporting 5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a safety and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work with repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Hand load windows and doors onto trailers according to manifest and quality/safety standards.
• Unload and stage windows/doors at proper locations on dock.
• Load/unload trailers at rate of 150 cube/hour or greater with quality/safety.
• Use tugger to move windows/doors from production lines and place carts in correct staging lanes; scan for correct lane.
• Support 5S initiatives and work overtime as needed.

Pay $19.00 plus $1.00 Shift Differential

Position Summary

The loading dock is responsible for hand loading windows and doors for outbound customer loads or internal transfers between Silver Line locations. Additionally, the loading dock is responsible for unloading windows and doors from other customer locations, moving windows from production lines to loading dock, and staging windows in proper lanes for loading.

Responsibilities

• Hand load windows and doors onto trailers according to manifest and consistently to the quality and safety standards established
• Unload windows and doors and stage in correct locations on dock according to the quality and safety standards established
• Ability to load or unload trailers at rate of 150 cube/hour or greater according to the quality and safety standards
• Utilize tugger, when necessary, to pull windows and doors from production lines and place carts in the proper staging lanes. Scan windows to correct staging lane upon delivery
• Adhere to and actively support departmental 5S initiatives
• Must work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years or older to apply
