Job summary

Wintergreen Resort is seeking a Tubing Park Attendant to assist guests, prepare the tubing park for opening, and maintain lanes and safety throughout the day in Virginia. Immediate promotion to a Lead position is available for strong performers.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a minimum age of 16. Seasonal full-time or part-time; starting late November/early December through mid-March.

Qualifications

• Must interact with guests in a safe, friendly, and positive manner.
• Tolerable of working outdoors for extended periods in all types of weather conditions.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Must be in uniform when on duty.
• Lead by example for a safe work environment.
• Follow all opening, closing, and daily operating procedures.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Advise and assist passengers as required.
• Maintain an orderly passenger traffic flow in a safe manner.
• Maintain a safe operation for all staff and guests as conditions change.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Must follow policies and procedures outlined in the Wintergreen Handbook and departmental training.
• Able to take on additional tasks and assignments assigned by the manager.

Prepare tubing park for opening, maintain tubing lanes throughout day, ensure safe loading/unloading of guest on the tube and conveyor, maintain signage, communicate rules, complete required paperwork, check lift tickets, and run tubing lines.
