Job summary

Nova Biomedical in Waltham, MA is seeking a Tubing Assembly Operator I to support manufacturing operations. You will assemble tubing components for Core and OEM analyzers, using adhesives and alcohol per procedures.

Working under general supervision, you’ll read assembly docs, operate equipment like crimp cappers, laser coders, leak testers, and maintain high quality while meeting schedules. Zero to two years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or Trade School diploma required.
• Zero to two years in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow assembly procedures and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tubing assembly operations for Core and OEM analyzers.
• Work with adhesives and alcohol following safety requirements.
• Maintain high product yields through careful inspection and attention to detail.
• Operate and maintain equipment: crimp cappers, laser coders, leak testers, tube cutters, crimping devices, heat fixtures, UV systems.
• Read and follow assembly procedures and engineering drawings.
• Assemble products using small components requiring fine motor skills.
• Meet production schedules with high quality standards.
• Collaborate with Management and Engineering to resolve issues.
