Job summary

Nova Biomedical Corporation is seeking a manufacturing assembler to process reference sensors, air detectors, and non-sensing devices for core and OEM analyzers. Under supervision, you will perform routine assembly and, after training, work independently to meet production schedules with a focus on quality.

Responsibilities include handling epoxies, solvents, and various production equipment, while maintaining high workmanship standards and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.

Job Summary

This person is responsible for the processing of the various reference sensors, air detectors and non-sensing devices for both core and OEM analyzers. Under general supervision, this person will perform routine assembly operations. Once trained, candidate must have the ability to work independently and efficiently. Required to manufacture only the highest quality assemblies while meeting manufacturing schedules.

Responsibilities

Ability to work with various epoxies, solvents and chemicals as required during assembly. Requires a high level of attention to detail through all aspects of the assembly process to produce high product yields since these products are very dependent on workmanship. Must have the ability to set up and operate a variety of production equipment such as, automatic dispensing equipment, UV adhesive systems, ultrasonic welders, laser coders, soldering irons and leak testers. Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions, and related documentation to assemble various product is required.

Experience Requirements

Min 2 years of Manufacturing experience building small assemblies, working with epoxies, and using small hand tools.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Position requires a high degree of fine motor dexterity and visual acuity to work with very small parts and components. Employees must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements, use various small hand tools, manipulate and assemble small components, and stretch/install tubing throughout the shift. This is a high-volume production environment requiring repetitive assembly tasks for extended periods of time.

The position also requires prolonged sitting and working at a production workstation for much of the shift. Employees must be able to maintain appropriate positioning and perform repetitive tasks while following established ergonomic and safety practices.
