Sonoco in Greenville, WI is hiring a Winder Operator for a straight shift (10 hours, 3pm-1am, Mon-Thu, with occasional Fridays) at $25.21 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. The role supports winding and tube saw setup, quality checks, and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll review orders, select materials, monitor process parameters, and work with the production team to ensure on-time, quality outputs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimal related experience may be acceptable.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders to select correct equipment and materials.
• Set up and operate winding machine and related tooling.
• Monitor tension, alignment, and adhesive application for quality product.
• Inspect dimensions, tube length, and overall quality each hour.
• Maintain equipment with lubrication and routine cleaning; assist line leads.
