Job summary

Consolidated Metals Inc is seeking a tube mill operator for its Indiana facility. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work in a team with strong mechanical aptitude. Prior tube mill operations experience is required; Lean/Six Sigma experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities include setting up and adjusting welded tube mill equipment, performing quality inspections, and maintaining safe, efficient operations while supporting a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Prior tube mill operations experience required (or strong machining background).
• Lean/Six Sigma experience is highly desired.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and work hours mandated by management.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and adjust welded tube mill equipment to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Make adjustments to rolls to set up for sizes.
• Inspect product dimensions and quality; read precision measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure safe operating conditions.
• Provide training and support to other mill crew personnel.
