Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a reliable technician to operate and monitor a Continuous Tube Mill in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will set up machinery, adjust tooling, load materials, and inspect finished parts for quality while adhering to safety standards. The role requires the ability to read work orders, maintain production metrics, collaborate with team members and communicate across departments to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Ability to read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine tasks.
• Ability to safely meet or exceed productivity levels set by the company.
• Ability to plan and organize work activities, with or without supervision.
• Knowledge of product and inventory control procedures.
• Ability to communicate across departments regarding routing, safety, and customers.
• Demonstrate basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• May be required to demonstrate strong customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welded tube mill machinery per specifications and safety protocols.
• Monitor quality, production rates, and scrap to meet goals.
• Adjust basic tooling and fixtures to ensure proper function and conformity.
• Perform visual inspections of finished parts for defects or burrs.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts to/from machines.
• Prepare materials for processing, including measuring and staging.
• Observe machine output for malfunctions; report issues promptly.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery and tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
