Job summary

Atkore, based in Harvey, IL, is seeking a Large Mill Operator for the 3rd shift. You will operate and set up a Tube Mill, ensure product quality to work orders, and maintain a clean, safe workspace with 5S and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing or business system experience is a plus.
• Ability to pass the post-offer drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set up Tube Mill and adjust components across all areas.
• Operate Tube Mill and maintain quality per work order specs.
• Keep a safe, clean 5S workplace and wear PPE as required.
• Complete daily paperwork on time and manage hour-by-hour board.
• Maintain coating and induction equipment.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of the work area.
• Show progress in job-specific training within 3 months.
