Job summary

Atkore is seeking an experienced Tube Mill Operator for the 3rd shift based in Harvey, IL. You will operate, set up and adjust tube mill equipment and tooling under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in fast-paced steel manufacturing, with lean manufacturing or business system exposure considered a plus. Join a team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pass the post offer employment process with drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace by following 5S, Standard Work and wearing all required PPE.
• Set up Tube Mill.
• Adjust and operate all components areas of Tube Mill.
• Ensure quality based on specification provided with work order.
• Complete daily paperwork on time.
• Maintain all coating and induction equipment.
• Conduct safety inspection of work area daily.
• Fill out hour by hour board.
