Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking an Operator to oversee tube mill operations and tooling adjustments. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and maintaining continuous operation during the first shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00am–3:30pm), with overtime as required.

You will document downtime, track KPIs, and support TPM of processes while coordinating with the supervisor and maintenance team to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read micrometer and caliper measurements.
• Experience reading OEM setup charts and adjusting roll tooling.
• Ability to document downtime using a seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking.
• Safety-minded with good communication to maintain mill flow.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tube mill operations and keep the mill running smoothly.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, organized, and compliant with 5S.
• Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill set ups.
• Perform TPM of processes and equipment in the area.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
