Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a Tube Laser Set-Up / Operator for the 1st shift in our metal manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You will set up, operate, and monitor the tube laser, read work orders, perform quality checks, and complete paperwork for work orders and storage.

We value a strong work ethic, teamwork, and basic math/measurement skills. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior tube laser experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Strong work ethic
• High School diploma or GED required
• Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a caliper/precision measuring tools
• Blueprint Reading

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and monitor programs on the tube laser
• Read work orders to determine programming requirements.
• Perform consistent and accurate quality checks to detect and prevent part defects.
• Load and unload material.
• Accurately complete paperwork for work orders, inspections, and material storage.
• Troubleshoot cut issues and know how to fix them.
• Perform prescribed & preventative maintenance.
• Find, pull, and load material into the machine
