Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a Tube Laser Set-Up / Operator for 1st shift. The role focuses on setting up, operating, and maintaining the tube laser to meet production demands in a metal fabrication environment.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, performing quality checks, loading materials, and completing paperwork. A HS diploma, basic math skills, and a team-oriented attitude are required; laser experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Team player with a positive, 'can do' attitude.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using calipers/precision tools.
• Blueprint Reading.

Our capabilities are constantly expanding and currently include metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, tubular stamped components, CNC and Swiss machined parts, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and integrated assemblies. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.

Tube Laser Set-up / Operator - 1st Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The tube laser operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the tube laser.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setup, operate, and monitor programs on the tube laser
• Read work orders to determine programming requirements.
• Perform consistent and accurate quality checks to detect and prevent part defects.
• Load and unload material.
• Accurately complete paperwork for work orders, inspections, and material storage.
• Troubleshoot cut issues and know how to fix them.

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Previous tube laser set-up, operating and/or programming experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A certificate from college or technical school is a plus.
