Job summary

Sonoco in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Spiral Technician II to join our tube and core division. You will operate, set up, and troubleshoot equipment, perform machine preventative maintenance, and monitor production orders and quality metrics.

This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and safety compliance, with overtime possible. The position offers competitive pay of $23.28 per hour, first shift 6:30am–3:30pm, and a path to growth in a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced production environments.
• Ability to read production orders and understand requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot equipment as required.
• Perform machine preventative maintenance.
• Maintain machine logs and report quality measurements.
• Support other crew members with setups, packaging, and quality requirements.
• Interpret production orders and track scrap and downtime.
