Job summary

Cudd Energy Services is seeking a qualified engineer/designer to prepare detailed CAD drawings and diagrams for mechanical equipment and tooling. You will collaborate directly with the engineering department to interpret specifications, apply industry and company safety policies, and ensure design accuracy.

You will modify designs, maintain training compliance, and meet deadlines while contributing to cross-functional problem-solving and documentation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering diagrams, including dimensions, and other engineering information.
• Work directly with the engineering department.
• Adhere to both RPC and Thru Tubing Solutions policies and procedures.
• Adhere to both industry and company safety policies.
• Maintain personal safety training at 90% with a goal of 100%.
• Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
• Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
• Modify and revise designs.
• Meet all required deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
