Job summary

City of Sandy Springs seeks a TSPLOST Utility Coordinator to join Public Works. You will coordinate utility relocation activities, maintain schedules, document progress, and liaise with city project managers, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on track.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with on-site work and access to city resources. GDOT processes familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years in utilities/transportation or equivalent.
• Valid GA driver's license required.
• Able to operate City-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track utility relocation activities incl. submissions, agreements, schedules, permitting.
• Monitor progress and identify issues affecting schedules.
• Prepare weekly project status reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate monthly meetings with external utility providers.
• Serve as primary contact for external utility reps and resolve issues.
• Build relationships with providers, PMs, design consultants, contractors.
• Attend meetings and site visits; maintain records and contact info.
• Help develop and improve SOPs for utility coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
