Insight Global is seeking a UxS/C-UxS Fixed Site Training Specialist to support a large government customer in Alexandria, VA. The role focuses on training military and government personnel on unmanned systems and counter-UxS operations for base defense and fixed-site environments.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise and training experience to enhance mission readiness and ensure these capabilities are integrated into planning and operations.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret SCI clearance required.
• Advanced degree requirements with years of experience per level.
• Proven ability to apply MDMP at a senior level with planning and briefings.
• Experience instructing diverse military audiences in training environments.
• Excellent communication skills for briefing senior leaders.
• Pre-deployment training, FTX/LFX/VALEX experience.
• Base Defense and Fixed Site operations expertise.
• Proficiency in UxS/C-UxS tech, systems, operations, and adversarial TTPs.
• Ability to integrate new tech and threats into training programs.
• Meet ATP requirements; joint/interagency/coalition experience.
• CRC readiness and 60+ day deployment capability.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Hands-on with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAS.
• FAA Part 107 Certification
• Amateur Radio Technician License

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, hands-on, and computer-based training on unmanned systems and counter-UxS operations.
• Train personnel on system operations, maintenance, and base defense tactics.
• Support new equipment fielding and training events.
• Evaluate student performance and adjust training based on skill level and feedback.
• Simulate real-world threats to prepare teams for adversary UxS tactics.
• Assist in developing training materials, including manuals and course content.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and threats related to unmanned systems at fixed sites.
• Operate UxS platforms during training exercises (launch, flight, recovery, checks).
• Provide guidance on integrating UxS capabilities into base defense planning.
• Travel to various locations to support training efforts.
