Job summary

Omniplex in Chantilly, VA is seeking security officers to perform routine patrols and access control at the Aerospace Chantilly facility, ensuring property security and safety throughout the shift.

Candidates must hold a current Top-Secret clearance eligible for SCI, be a U.S. citizen, and pass background checks, driving checks, and a medical screening. Training includes rotation shifts and a 90-day probationary period.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and eligible for SCI.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check.
• Successfully pass an employment physical.
• 6 months or more of related security experience.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
• Communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
• Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
• Training will require shift rotations for the first 2 weeks and a 90-day probationary period.
• Should have knowledge of NISPOM.

POSITION SUMMARY

COMPENSATION

HourlyRate or Salary Range: $33.55

Full-time. Monday - Friday - 1330-2200 (1:30pm - 10:00pm)
