Omniplex is hiring a Full-Time Armed Security Protective Officer for two client sites in the 20151 and 22060 ZIP areas. Expect 24/7 shifts with duties including deter/report unauthorized access, emergency response, and monitoring security systems.

K-9, bike patrol, and emergency response tasks may be involved. Qualifications require US citizenship, HS diploma or GED, two years of armed forces or security experience, and the ability to obtain TS-SCI-CI poly clearance.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you ready to step into a dynamic role as a Full-Time Armed Security Protective Officer? Embrace the excitement of a variable Full-Time work schedule that keeps you on your toes! Your assignments will take you to client sites (two locations) in the areas of the 20151 and 22060 zip codes.

COMPENSATION:

• Pay Range: Starting at $43.51.
• Plus, an extra $4.23 for Health and Welfare.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deter and report unauthorized access.
• Prevent and respond to emergencies.
• Monitor and respond to security systems.
• Identify and report hazardous conditions.
• Manage access to secured areas-because some doors are meant to stay closed.
• Enforce site security regulations.
• Document incidents and investigations-every detail matters.
• Responding to medical emergencies-your quick thinking could make all the difference.
• Manage keys and safe/vault combinations.
• Conduct facility patrols-exploring is part of the job!
• Engage in specialized duties with K-9 teams, Bike Patrol, Emergency Response, and Security Operations-where no day is ever the same
• Business work hours are 24/7, and weekend availability is required.
• Work is typically based on a busy environment and subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be subject to outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather.
• Subject to high noise levels.
• Heavy work: Exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Must have visual and audio acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment, machines such as fire equipment and apparatuses, firearms and clearing barrels.
• Subject to hazards including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
• May be required to be fitted for and/or wear a respirator.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, often without breaks, and may be required to climb stairs or ladders and walk-up inclines and on uneven terrain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able toobtaina Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI-CI Poly. Don't worry; candidates may be considered for sponsorship if they meet our preferred qualifications.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid U.S. state-issued driver's license.
• No domestic violence convictions (Lautenberg compliance).
• Two years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Two years of experience in physical security or a combo of military service and security experience.
• An associate degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement field.
• Completion of a police officer basic training academy.
• Three years of experience as a security officer.
