Job summary

Constellis is seeking security officers to provide routine patrol and access control at the Aerospace Chantilly, VA location. Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility. Training includes shift rotations for two weeks and a 90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities include patrolling Buyer's facilities, reporting deficiencies, enforcing access control at gates and lobbies, and responding to emergencies. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and eligible for SCI.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check.
• Successfully pass an employment physical.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
• Communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses.
• 6 months or more of related security experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
• Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
• Training will require shift rotations for the first 2 weeks and a 90-day probationary period.
• Should have knowledge of NISPOM.
