Job summary

Constellis seeks security officers to perform routine patrols and access control at the Aerospace Chantilly, VA location. Must hold a current Top-Secret clearance and be eligible for SCI. Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:30pm–10:00pm; compensation: $33.55 hourly or salary range.

Responsibilities include patrolling facilities, reporting deficiencies, and enforcing access and property control policies. Candidates must meet background checks, pass an employment physical, and demonstrate strong written

Qualifications

• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and eligible for SCI.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Criminal, credit and driving records checks required.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Fully computer literate with computer hardware.
• Must be able to pass training and obtain required certifications and licenses.
• 6 months or more of related security experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
• Patrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
• Training will require shift rotations for the first 2 weeks and a 90-day probationary period.
• Should have knowledge of NISPOM.
