Job summary

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer (TSCM) to support counterintelligence threat analysis of technical devices and communications systems in Chantilly, VA. Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 10 years in engineering and/or a specialty field in a secure environment; ITC certification preferred.
• Experience with computer software/hardware and networks; familiarity with security monitoring apps.
• Expertise with offensive and defensive TSCM technologies and protocols.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and spectrum management.
• Experience prioritizing analytical requests; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial security risk analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods; document methodology and results.
• Develop and execute advanced security strategies to protect systems and data.
• Recommend system enhancements to address security deficiencies.
• Conduct technical analysis and all-source analysis to counter foreign intelligence threats in telecoms and data security.
• Research and exploit data from multiple sources to inform operations and intelligence needs.
• Ensure systems meet security criteria (including ICD705) and provide mitigations and countermeasure requirements.
• Coordinate with research engineers and customers to resolve system issues.
• Produce formal reports on electromagnetic and network signatures.
