Job summary

Peraton is seeking a motivated Product Quality System Engineer to support planning, test development, data definition, and task execution for NSG products. The role involves writing clear test plans, coordinating with image scientists, analysts, photogrammetrists, and statisticians to track issues, and communicating status to stakeholders.

The candidate should have imaging experience across multiple sensor types (EO/IR/SAR), strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• BS degree in a STEM field; 8 years of system engineering experience with a BS or 6 years with a MS including independent testing and data verification.
• Experience with sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes.
• Strong written and oral communication, including briefing to obtain decisions and test plan/report writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, test development, data definition, and task execution for NSG products; write clear test plans to satisfy objectives.
• Collaborate with image scientists, image analysts, photogrammetrists, and statisticians to track issues and communicate status.
• Verify and validate product visual quality and support data accuracy across data providers and sensor phenomenologies.
