Job summary

SOC LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for an onsite Direct Hire opportunity in Herndon, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; or Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on systems engineering and enterprise architecture to support USG customers in a defense/intelligence context.

The position emphasizes Agile practices, MBSE, and collaboration with customers to design, analyze, and improve architectures and workflows, with opportunities to work across different environments and technologies.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of systems engineering experience including requirements analysis and test planning.
• Familiarity with requirements tools and Jira; SCRUM/AGILE development.
• Experience with deployment/maintenance of development, test and operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to USG customers.
• Collaborate with customers to improve architecture and engineering workflows and tools.
• Articulate and capture architecture, requirements, design, and testing approaches.
• Model "As Is" and "To Be" states and recommend transitions.
• Develop repeatable processes for architecture and integration projects; reference System V concepts.
• Produce EA repository artifacts and support engineering review boards.
