Job summary

ProSync is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including Python applications, real-time processing, and large data workflows.

The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph, at least five years of experience with Python, Kubernetes, Docker and Helm, and the ability to contribute to mission-focused projects in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field with relevant experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python, Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Python Application Development - develop, test, and maintain Python apps supporting mission workflows and backend processing.
• Containerization & Docker - build, optimize, and troubleshoot Docker-based containers used across development, testing, and production environments.
• Kubernetes Deployment - deploy, manage, and support applications running in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Helm Chart Development - create, maintain, and update Helm charts to support automated Kubernetes deployments and configuration management.
• Cloud-Native Engineering - apply cloud-native principles to improve application resilience, observability, and maintainability.
• CI/CD Collaboration - work with DevSecOps teams to integrate Python applications and containerized services into automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization - diagnose issues across containerized environments, Kubernetes workloads, and Python applications.
• Documentation & Team Support.
