Job summary

ProSync Technology Group seeks an experienced Java developer to join a small, mission‑focused engineering team responsible for building and sustaining operational software in secure environments.

The role requires strong Java development skills, exposure to Git, Gradle, Guice, Docker, REST, and limited UI work in Angular/Typescript, plus Linux proficiency. An active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is required and the position may involve working in customer spaces or offsite SCIFs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Java development.
• Experience with Git, Gradle, Guice/Dependency Injection, Docker, and REST.
• Willingness to support both backend and limited‑scope UI development.
• Strong Linux skills.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Java Application Development — Design, develop, test, and maintain mission‑focused Java applications using modern frameworks and tooling.
• Dependency Injection & Build Tools — Utilize Guice for dependency injection and Gradle for build automation.
• RESTful Service Development — Build and maintain REST‑based services and integrations.
• Containerized Development — Develop and troubleshoot containerized components using Docker.
• Logging & Analytics Integration — Integrate ELK stack components for logging and monitoring.
• Database Development — Work with MongoDB and other data stores.
• Automation & Configuration — Support Ansible for automation.
• Kubernetes Support — Assist with Kubernetes deployments and troubleshooting.
• UI Development — Support limited‑scope UI tasks using Angular/Typescript.
• Linux‑Based Operations — Strong Linux skills to support operations.
• Secure Environment Support — Work in customer spaces or SCIFs.
