Job summary

Prodigy One, LLC. is seeking a System Administrator 2 to support IT systems, networks, and infrastructure for DoD programs. The role includes Tier 1/2 help desk escalation, UNIX/Windows administration, troubleshooting, and ongoing system optimization.

Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Location in Annapolis Junction, MD offers a competitive federal compensation package. Salary ranges from 122K to 208K depending on experience, education, and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems
• Support for dispatch system and hardware problems, and escalation process
• Configure UNIX and Windows operating systems and optimize system performance

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Manage day-to-day operations of client/server/storage/network devices
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalation support and communicate status to management
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT system issues and optimize performance
• Configure UNIX and Windows OS and ensure system integrity
