Job summary

Prodigy One, LLC. is seeking a System Administrator 2 to support IT systems, networks, and infrastructure for DoD programs. The role includes Tier 1/2 help desk escalation, UNIX/Windows administration, troubleshooting, and ongoing system optimization.

Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Location in Annapolis Junction, MD offers a competitive federal compensation package. Salary ranges from 122K to 208K depending on experience, education, and qualifications.

Qualifications

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
Assist users in accessing and using IT systems
Support for dispatch system and hardware problems, and escalation process
Configure UNIX and Windows operating systems and optimize system performance

Responsibilities

Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Manage day-to-day operations of client/server/storage/network devices
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalation support and communicate status to management
Troubleshoot and resolve IT system issues and optimize performance
Configure UNIX and Windows OS and ensure system integrity
