Bearing is seeking a Software Engineer (TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph) in Maryland for a full-time role. You will analyze requirements, design and code software, and integrate systems to meet stringent performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 7 years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Patch management and IAVA tracking.
• Experience with Python, Java, Scala.
• Experience in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software, or modify existing software, to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop data queries for databases and data repositories.
• Write and review software and system documentation.
• Develop and implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Assist in developing and executing test procedures for software components.
