Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team delivers high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to the intelligence and national security communities. The Security Specialist in El Segundo will lead multi-discipline security programs across SCIFs, ensuring ICD/DoD guidance is followed and security controls meet DoD, EMSEC, and COMSEC requirements.

This on-site role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, 5–10 years of direct security program experience, and the ability to brief leadership

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
• Experience administering security programs in SCIF/SAP environments.
• Proficiency with ICD 705, ICD 503, NISPOM, DoD 5205.07, TEMPEST/EMSEC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all facets of Personnel, Industrial, Physical, Information Security, EMSEC/TEMPEST, and AIS Security across SCIFs and mission spaces.
• Direct facility compliance activities and accreditation processes.
• Author and enforce SOPs/EOPs for secure areas and improve security posture.
• Operate SCIF alarms, CCTV, access controls, and daily security checks.
• Develop and present security briefings and OPSEC guidance.
• Coordinate with Insider Threat, Crisis Action Team, and Space Force Security Forces.
