Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Security Control Assessor (SCA) to support a federal customer in Denver, CO. The role conducts independent assessments of security controls to ensure RMF compliance and readiness.

The ideal candidate will support ATO efforts, develop accreditation documentation, and advise stakeholders on risk management; collaboration with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and program leadership is essential. TS/SCI clearance and DoD/IC experience preferred; advanced certs welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting RMF assessments for federal systems.
• Experience supporting ATO processes and accreditation.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF, SP 800-37, and security controls.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent assessments of security controls per RMF.
• Review accreditation packages supporting ATO efforts.
• Plan and execute security authorization reviews for systems.
• Identify risks and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Support RMF documentation and continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate with technical teams and leadership.
• Assess cloud environments for compliance.
