Job summary

Amentum is seeking a highly motivated Risk Mitigation Specialist/Officer for an in-office role in the Quantico area. Candidates must be eligible for a Top Secret-SCI clearance and be able to operate with government staff and contractors on risk management actions.

The position emphasizes preparing and overseeing RMSs, providing technical guidance, mentoring RMOs, and managing multiple client portfolios. Travel within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active TS-SCI Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in risk management, risk treatment, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and oversee RMSs addressing risk indicators with clear treatments, rationale, and residual risk.
• Provide technical direction to Government and Contractor staff on risk management measures and processes.
• Coach, train, and mentor RMOs; conduct peer reviews and implement improvements.
• Manage workload with priority-based suspense dates and monitor KPI performance.
• Review DCSA all-source products and open-source research to produce Risk Management Strategies and Source Packages.
