D2 Consulting is seeking a Project/Implementation Manager to lead complex IT initiatives for a critical intelligence community mission in Springfield, VA (preferred) or St. Louis, MO. Bring strategic vision and hands-on execution to drive milestones and customer success.

This role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years of managing multi-disciplinary teams, with strong communication and risk management skills to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance (required).
• Proven ability to lead medium to large teams or departments with complex workflows.
• Experience supporting government clients, preferably within the intelligence or defense space.

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of complex IT projects and systems engineering tasks from initiation through delivery.
• Drive technical staff, including engineers, developers, operations teams and multi-disciplinary service lanes.
• Manage scope, schedule, milestone-based invoicing inputs, and resource allocation to meet aggressive mission milestones.
• Proactively mitigate risks, identify technical bottlenecks, and drive rapid solutions to ensure zero mission downtime.
• Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to intelligence customer stakeholders.
• Host high-level technical exchange meetings (TEMs) and participate in program management reviews.
