Job summary

Akina, Inc. seeks a highly experienced SIE3-level professional to manage containerized services within a Kubernetes cluster environment at Fort Meade, MD. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and involves documentation, software sustainment, and customer interaction.

The candidate will leverage Linux CLI, Bash/PHP scripting, Python/Java development, Ansible IaC, GitLab CI, Docker, and Git to support HPC tools, deploy updates, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Linux command line and related tools.
• Automation through Bash and PHP scripting to streamline admin tasks.
• Python and Java development experience for software updates and new features.
• Experience with IaC and Ansible for automated deployments.
• CI/CD practices using GitLab CI.
• Containerization with Docker and related orchestration concepts.
• Documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Git-based source control and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide containerized services in Kubernetes clusters.
• Generate documentation for the full software stack.
• Update software for sustainment and new features.
• Perform basic Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Execute test codes to characterize software performance.
• Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
• Work with CM tools, documentation, and issue tracking.
• Adapt to fast-paced environment and switch architectures as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot containerized applications.
