Job summary

Bespoke Technologies, Inc. seeks an Oracle Data Steward / Oracle Database Developer to ensure data quality, governance, and security while building Oracle database solutions.

The role combines data stewardship with PL/SQL development, data migration, and performance tuning to support enterprise systems. The candidate will work on on-site projects in Annapolis Junction, MD, collaborating with data owners, developers, and DBAs to maintain accurate, compliant data and robust database applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of Oracle Database development experience.
• Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Oracle Database 19c.
• Experience planning and executing data migration and conversion projects.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data mapping, and data validation techniques.
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and data stewardship principles.
• Working with Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• On-site in Annapolis Junction, MD; TS/SCI poly clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data quality, integrity, and security of enterprise data.
• Develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.
• Plan, execute data migration and ETL/ELT activities between systems.
• Analyze and optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, document data definitions, migration plans, and data dictionaries.
