Job summary

NewGen Technologies is seeking an Oracle Data Steward / Oracle Database Developer to ensure the quality, integrity, governance, and security of enterprise data while developing, maintaining, and supporting Oracle database solutions.

This role combines data stewardship with Oracle PL/SQL development, data migration, performance tuning, and data integration requiring collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and database administrators to ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/DM or related field.
• 5+ years of Oracle Database development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Data Stewardship: maintain quality, integrity, and security of enterprise data.
• Develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications and solutions.
• Plan and execute data migration strategies for Oracle implementations and cloud migrations.
• Analyze and optimize SQL/PL-SQL performance for reliability and speed.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, DBAs, and data owners.
