Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking an Oracle Data Steward / Oracle Database Developer to support enterprise data management and modernization initiatives. You will develop Oracle database solutions, ensure data quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive data governance, migrations, and performance improvements.

The role combines hands-on PL/SQL development with data stewardship responsibilities to enable secure, reliable data for mission-critical decisions and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field with 5+ years Oracle database development experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Database 19c, and development of packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and materialized views.
• Experience planning and executing data migration initiatives, including ETL/ELT, data mapping, validation, conversion, and reconciliation.
• Proven experience with SQL performance tuning, data governance, data quality practices, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality, integrity, and security of enterprise data assets per governance policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues via profiling, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation.
• Develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications (PL/SQL, packages, procedures, triggers, views).
• Create, optimize, and support SQL queries for reporting, analytics, and integrations.
• Plan and execute data migrations, including extraction, transformation, validation, loading, and reconciliation.
• Develop scripts/automation for data conversion, migration, and integration.
• Tune SQL/PLSQL for performance, optimize objects, ensure reliability and scalability.
• Maintain database security through role management and access controls.
