Job summary

Bespoke Technologies is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Engineer with 10+ years of enterprise Oracle experience. The role is hands‑on with SQL and PL/SQL development, production troubleshooting, and data integration across feeds and endpoints.

The position is fully on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD, and requires a TS/SCI poly clearance. Collaboration with DBA and infrastructure teams will be essential to ensure robust, scalable database solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing and supporting Oracle Database solutions for enterprise systems.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and dynamic SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex SQL/PL/SQL in dev/test/prod environments.
• Ability to analyze existing code, identify defects, bottlenecks, and rewrite/refactor scripts.
• Experience maintaining data feeds and system integrations (NiFi, AWS, APIs, file transfers).
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, security, storage, and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve complex SQL, PL/SQL, data, and production‑processing issues.
• Review, rewrite, refactor, and optimise existing SQL/PL/SQL scripts.
• Develop ad hoc queries and scripts for investigations, reporting, reconciliation, and data correction.
• Maintain and enhance PL/SQL packages, procedures, and database interfaces.
• Monitor and maintain data feeds involving Oracle, NiFi, AWS endpoints, APIs, and files.
• Coordinate resolution of failed data flows across DB, integration, app, and infra teams.
